Gail is also the President of Transitions, a comprehensive assistance program for assisting right-sizers and seniors transition from their family homestead to a more manageable lifestyle.
As a former public relations/marketing consultant to the U.S. Government and a Vice President of an environmental/manufacturing firm, Gail’s unique business acumen is highly sought after in the real estate industry. She employs her experience to maximum benefit on behalf of her clients. Gail is the Past President of the Plymouth and South Shore Board of Realtors, and a former Realtor of the Year. Gail is an alumna of Cohasset High School, Elmira College and the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
Her interests include enjoyment of friends and family, golf, bowling, theater, dancing, personal fitness, cooking, reading, meditation and hiking. She is a long-time and active member of the Cohasset Golf Club and past member of the Board of Governors of the Neighborhood Club of Quincy. She is also a charter member of the South Shore Women’s Business Network and was actively involved in the South Shore Chamber of Commerce for many years.
Gail’s specialties include Luxury Homes, Transitions for Rightsizers, New Construction and Development and Antique Homes. Gail has represented many of the sales of the most exclusive and expensive homes across the South Shore. She is also the President of Transitions, which assists Seniors and Right-Sizers transitioning from their family homestead to a more manageable lifestyle. Gail has been the broker of choice for most of the area’s new subdivisions such as Conservatory Park, Baker Hill, Canterbury Village, Sherman Way, Julian Way, Whiting Lane and Derby Brook. She is also the only South Shore broker certified by the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Washington D.C. to market antique and unique properties.
Originally from Massachusetts, Evan Shuman brings to the team over a decade of experience in Los Angeles and Boston working with clients to develop strategy and marketing plans for their companies and employees in the hospitality and entertainment industries.
After returning to New England, Evan and his partner moved to the South Shore in 2017 and opened a clothing shop in Hingham called Assembly. The shop has served as an incredible conduit to the local community and been a catalyst to establish deeper roots.
Evan is a member of the Hull Redevelopment Authority, the Hull Economic Development Committee, and the Hingham Downtown Association. His community ties have provided him an intimate knowledge of the South Shore that he passes along to his clients.
Whether buying or selling, Kara has a keen sense for what makes a house into a home. Growing up in Hingham, she understands the South Shore real estate market. Two years ago, Kara and her husband moved back to south Hingham to raise their family and become active members of the community. Kara is currently serving as the Co-president of the Hingham Newcomers Club, a parishioner of the Resurrection and St. Paul’s Catholic Collaborative, and a member of the South Shore Young Professionals Association.
Kara attended Hingham High School and then earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services at Assumption College. She has a passion for traveling and meeting new people, so during her time in college she studied abroad in Galway, Ireland. Now she has turned her passions into a growing career in real estate. Kara truly enjoys getting to know each client and making the most of her skills and abilities to meet all of their needs.
However, Kara also is a highly motivated and competitive individual. Throughout her life she dedicated herself to equestrian sports, earning herself several national titles and awards. This passion has taken her across the United States and even internationally! As past clients can attest, Kara’s affable personality and competitive nature means that she will work efficiently and energetically to make your real estate needs a reality. Donna has a passion for living life to its fullest and helping others do the same. She grew up in Central Mass and in the last five years, has relocated to the South Shore and is now proud to call Hull home. Donna enjoys sailing, open water diving, remodeling her 1910 home with her husband, son, and three Labradors. Donna combines her background in business management, marketing, and sales to help others achieve their dream of home ownership. She was excited to join the Gail Bell Team at Compass in 2019 as a licensed Realtor.
